About the role

Vishay Applied Thin Film Products is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Photolithography Technician. This position is located in Fremont, CA.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on in a clean room environment, utilizing equipment and chemicals to perform photolithography works.
• Assist in the development and execution of photolithography processes to meet customer specifications and manufacturing process flows from customer requirements.
• Clean, etch, plate, and pattern substrates in both manual and semi-automated photolithographic processes.
• Utilize semi-automated and manual etching processes, pattern aligners, and x-ray, alpha-step, beta scope, and microscope-based measurement tools to manufacture a wide variety of thin-film products.
• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner, as well as other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Work with chemicals and associated hazardous waste.
• Frequently required to lift chemical bottles weighing between 10 and 20 pounds.
• Coach: Provide guidance, assistance, and support to help team members improve their skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate degree is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in photolithography processes, with an emphasis on development and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using equipment such as microscopes, calipers, Asher, X-Ray, Beta scope, Alpha step, masking aligners, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, review critical criteria, and follow special instructions.
• Proficiency in data entry (e.g., quality data/results) and a proven working knowledge of computer usage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize job flows, schedule tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Well-organized and able to work independently.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constantly changing assignment.
• Experience in handling chemicals.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and other safety procedures.
• Prior experience working for an ISO 9000 certified company.
• Entry-level position with training provided.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of photolithography processes and techniques.

• Previous experience in a similar role.

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 /hourly
