Photographer / Sales Associate - South Carolina Aquarium

About the role

We’re hiring 6+ Sales Associate/Photographer spots in Charleston and Mount Pleasant to help deliver unforgettable retail photo and photography experiences for our guests. We operate at the South Carolina Aquarium, USS Yorktown, Charleston Harbor Tours and Spiritline Cruises!

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, guiding families through their photo experience
• Help guests take home memories they’ll cherish
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home
• Operate POS system and photography equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• All other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work during “peak” retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable with cash handling
• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required
• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time

• Knowledge, Experience & Skill: None specifically required, but previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred.
