Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photography and video at university events, including ceremonies, clinical environments, academic programs, and community engagements.
- Edit and deliver high-quality photo and video content optimized for web, digital, and social platforms.
- Support the production team on multimedia projects between events, including video shoots, interviews, and campaign-related content.
- Aid in presidential video shoots and interviews.
- Maintain efficiency while continuing to grow skillsets.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines across multiple assignments.
- Maintain equipment and organize digital assets.
- Ensure all photography and videography equipment is maintained and ready for use.
Requirements
- Completion of high school or the equivalent plus two years responsible photographic work.
- College level photographic course work can exchange for experience on a 15 hours for every one year of required experience.
- Experience covering live events in higher education, health care, or agency settings.
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and storytelling within a strategic communications environment.
- Proficiency with Apple computers and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working within project management systems (e.g., Asana).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive communication style and client-service mindset.
