Requirements
- High school diploma
- Fluency in English
- Valid Driver's license
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Minimum two years’ experience operating video recording equipment
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
- Proficiency with video recording equipment
- Able to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work any shift
Skills
- Operating television or video cameras
- Recording images or scenes for news reports
- Shooting video for news reports
- Setting up, composing and executing video shots
- Maintaining video equipment
- Editing video clips for television broadcasts and eMedia content
- Operating live microwave and satellite trucks in remote situations
