Photographer

About the role

The Photographer documents each week of camp with a wide variety of photos and projects, including daily slide shows and daily uploads of photos to the camp website. Must be proficient in Mac OSX. The Photographer will report to the Media Director.

Position runs from May 31, 2026 to August 8, 2026. Minimum age: 18. Seasonal role.

Responsibilities

• Create daily slideshows that are sent home with each camper
• Upload photos daily to Camp Lurecrest’s website and Facebook page
• Create a slideshow for staff orientation and staff debriefing
• Use Mac OS X and Final Cut Pro X
• Operate provided digital video cameras and organize digital files
• Complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Perform hands-on tasks as well as teach and invest in campers in a support staff role

Requirements

• Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Proficient in Mac OSX, Lightroom, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program
• Live, eat, and serve on-site, modeling the values of CLM as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job
