Phlebotomy Technician
Must be located near Austin, Texas.
About the role
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Labels, centrifuges, splits, and freezes specimens as required by test order. Packages specimens for transport. Stores specimen samples according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection containers/tubes, accurately labels, and follows different procedures as outlined by specific protocols deemed necessary for transport to maintain specimen integrity.
Responsibilities

- Centrifuge specimens
- Record maintenance data and decontamination
- Update patient information
Requirements
- 6+ months of experience working as a Phlebotomist in a lab and hospital (mandatory)
- Pediatric and geriatric experience (mandatory)
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.61 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
