Phlebotomy Technician

About the role

Immediate hiring for a Phlebotomist position. Duties include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and accurately updating patient information.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results

Requirements

• 1+ year working with pediatrics and geriatrics in a hospital, clinic, or lab
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour. Individual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and other factors.

Schedule

This is a fully onsite contract position based in Yorkville, New York.
