About the role
Immediate hiring for a Phlebotomist position in Adelphi, MD.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary.
- Update patient information accurately.
- Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
- Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
- Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
- Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.
Requirements
1+ years of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is mandatory.
Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr (fixed hourly rate).
Position type: Contract, fully onsite in Adelphi, MD.
