Phlebotomy Instructor (Daytime)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Instructor to join our fast-growing educational organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and skills in a joyful environment, and believes in making educational opportunities accessible and affordable for all.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook.
• Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
• Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and paperwork, including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct, and recording and reporting of grades.
• Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session, including handling student payments and accepting student documentation.
• Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located with regard to policy.
• Follow the curriculum as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.

Schedule

Phlebotomy classes are offered during both weekdays and weekends, including morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. You are the ideal candidate if you are:

• Comprehensive: You are punctual, prepared for class, and understand the syllabus and school policies. You are comfortable presenting class material and managing class time to cover all required content while adhering to state-regulated time requirements.
• Process Oriented: You follow specific procedures and processes as outlined by the school.
• Receptive: You ask for help when needed, accept feedback openly, and are willing to learn and grow from it.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

$20 - $24 per hour, depending on experience.
