About the role
Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non technical, and clerical functions.
Schedule
- FTE: 0.500000 (20.00 standard hours)
- Shift: 1st shift, with some second shift to support staffing needs
- First shift rotation: 0400-1230, 0500-1330, and 0530-1400
- Second shift: 1330-2200
- Includes weekend and holiday rotations
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- ASCP certification is preferred
- Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred
Skills
- Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation
- Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required
- Basic computer, problem-solving and good communication skills are required
