Responsibilities

Requirements

• Compliance with Laboratory Safety Policies & Procedures.
• Demonstrates adequate knowledge of the hospital and laboratory computer systems.
• Reads at a high school level.
• Communicates verbally and in writing effectively.
• Implements written and oral instructions appropriately.
• Encounters individuals in a variety of situations and circumstances.
• Current Drivers License with no major citations, covered under AMC auto insurance.
• Encouraged to become certified by ASCP or a similar qualifying agency after one year of experience at JDAMH.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Driver's License.
• Successful completion of in-house training.

Skills

• Effective communication verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read at a high school level.
• Ability to effectively implement written and oral instructions.
• Ability to appropriately encounter individuals in a variety of situations and circumstances.
