About the role

This role involves providing exceptional patient care through venipuncture and specimen collection on patients of all ages, ensuring proper processing, labeling, and test ordering while maintaining safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect non-blood specimens
• Ensure specimen integrity and proper documentation
• Adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards when handling Protected Health Information (PHI)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of laboratory experience
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
