About the role

We are hiring for Phlebotomist positions at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or Nursing Home Clients.
• Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
• Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire: National Phlebotomy Technician - National Organization or, National Medical Assistant Certification or, National Laboratory Tech - United States Government or, National Emergency Medical Technician - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians or, Alaska Alaska Emergency Medical Technician License - State of Alaska Department of Health

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.
Multiple shifts available.
