Phlebotomist - PRN Days
Summary Of Responsibilities
Perform venipunctures and finger sticks, process medical laboratory samples for the clinical laboratory scientist to analyze.
Follow all CLIA and COLA requirements and regulations.
The phlebotomist must guide the patient through the process of donating laboratory sample.
The phlebotomist is responsible for the patient's comfort, safety and any pretest requirements.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Licenses/Certificates: A Phlebotomy certificate is not required but recommended. Must be BLS certified.
- Experience: No experience required, but (1) year preferred.
