Phlebotomist - Per Diem

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to provide efficient, accurate, and courteous specimen collection services for patients and residents. The role involves adhering to laboratory policies, medical center protocols, and regulatory standards to ensure timely specimen reception and processing. Key Responsibilities Include Performing blood draws and specimen collections accurately and safely.Ensuring proper specimen handling and documentation.Providing excellent patient care and communication.Maintaining compliance with laboratory and healthcare regulations. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED.Certification as a National Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician (state or national license/certification required upon hire).Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications Include Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.At least one year of phlebotomy experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
