Phlebotomist- Part Time

About the role

As a Phlebotomist, you will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Schedule

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pay

Pay Range: $XX.XX - $XX.XX per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
