Phlebotomist Part Time

About the role

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Greer, SC. This role provides vital information that helps clients and patients understand their health. Key responsibilities include performing blood collections, data entry, billing, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred

Qualifications

• Pass a standardized color blindness test
