Position Overview
The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant is a per-diem position within the Laboratory at Stoughton Health. This role involves collecting, preparing, and distributing clinical specimens, performing essential laboratory testing, managing specimen records, and providing clerical support.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Preferred: Graduate from a Phlebotomy program
- Professional Experience: Ability to perform phlebotomies
- Licensure: Valid Wisconsin Drivers License
- Required Certification: Current BLS certification
- Special Requirements: One-year of related experience in a Laboratory, medical hospital, or nursing home; reliable transportation and proof of current auto insurance
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills
