Phlebotomist Lab Assistant - Per Diem

Position Overview

The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant is a per-diem position within the Laboratory at Stoughton Health. This role involves collecting, preparing, and distributing clinical specimens, performing essential laboratory testing, managing specimen records, and providing clerical support.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Preferred: Graduate from a Phlebotomy program
• Professional Experience: Ability to perform phlebotomies
• Licensure: Valid Wisconsin Drivers License
• Required Certification: Current BLS certification
• Special Requirements: One-year of related experience in a Laboratory, medical hospital, or nursing home; reliable transportation and proof of current auto insurance
• Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills
• Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills
