Phlebotomist - Inpatient - Night

Hourly pay range: $19.31 - $28.00. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

About the Role

Full-time position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) with night hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends and holidays. Located at Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St, Naperville, IL.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, collect, log, and label specimens for testing under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform pre-analytical processing and ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Register patient information and order laboratory tests in the computer system.
• Arrange specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.

Requirements

Phlebotomist I

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours.
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Starting rate: $19.25/hr.

Phlebotomist II

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience.
