About the role
Territory-based phlebotomist position in Charleston, SC, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen collections following established procedures for various tests, including venipuncture and capillary draws.
- Ensure accurate specimen collection, patient identification, and adherence to testing protocols.
- Communicate effectively to create a professional and efficient experience for patients, staff, and clients.
- Handle more complex collections and patient/client situations with a consistently low error rate.
- Demonstrate the Quest 5Cs in all interactions.
Requirements
- Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy best practices and more complex collection practices, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
- Ability to work independently, performing accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven track record as a phlebotomist, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to change.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification required in certain states (CA, NV, WA, LA).
- Preferred: Phlebotomy accredited program, medical assistant or paramedic training.

Pay
Pay range: $23.11+ per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and market and organizational factors.
