Phlebotomist I

Pride Health is hiring to support a client’s medical facility in Cape Coral, FL 33904. This is a 13-week contract job with a possible extension opportunity.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Every Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pay

Pay range: $19.85 - $21.26 per hour. Offered rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials, specifically years of direct experience as listed in the resume.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 6 months of experience (required).
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
