Phlebotomist I

About the Role

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Wesley Chapel, FL. This is a contract position with a possible extension opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Perform phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Remain flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
• Comply with all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles
• Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment
• Travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations and Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice
• Adapt to training locations that may vary based on trainer availability

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record required (if applicable)

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Saturday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Eastern Time Zone)

Pay

$19 - $21 per hour
