About the role
The Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III) supports a healthcare facility in Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The position involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company to patients, both routine and for health decisions.
- Draw blood samples from patients following established practices and procedures.
- Create a trusting atmosphere by explaining procedures and ensuring patient safety.
- Perform specimen verification and maintain required records.
- Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Exercise good judgment and decision-making based on established procedures.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Be flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- Follow all policies and procedures, including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
Requirements
- Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
- Valid driver license and clean driving record, if applicable.
- Reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Confidence in handling forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Superior customer focus.

Pay
Pay range: $23.86/hr to $26.54/hr, based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Schedule
Eastern - Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (8-hour shifts daily) with rotational Saturdays.
