About the Role
Charges oversee blood collection operations and provide donor care. They manage staff, perform donor registration, screening, physicals, and phlebotomy, and may drive fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee blood drive or collection center operations
- Perform donor registration, screening, physicals, and phlebotomy
- Manage staff and drive fleet vehicles as needed
- Work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends
Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Enjoy working with the public
- Good, stable work history
- Understanding of standard operating procedures
- Healthcare experience (plus)
- Able to train away from home for up to two weeks
- Able to work varied schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and insurability by our insurance carrier
- DOT Medical Certification
Qualifications
- Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required
