Department 05550 FLMG NWGA Rome Family Medicine 15 Riverbend Dr - Laboratory Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 37 Schedule Details/Additional Information Monday through Friday 0800-1700 Pay Range $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities The Phlebotomist receives orders for laboratory testing, collects blood from patients of any age or status and issues appropriate paperwork to the Advocate laboratory or outside for processing. He/she maintains the laboratory in an efficient working state and performs lab procedures while ensuring quality control. The qualified candidate will possess the following: Education 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required2. Completion of a formal training program in Phlebotomy3. Completion of departmental clinical evaluation checklist Licensure or Certification PBT (ASCP) or equivalent national certification requiredC. Experience1.
