Phlebotomist | Bilingual

About the role
We are proactively hiring for a new center opening. No prior phlebotomy experience is required. Paid training is provided. At Vitalant, we hire caring, customer-focused people from all career backgrounds and provide the training needed to become a successful Mobile Phlebotomist. Many of our team members come from retail, hospitality, food service, healthcare support, education, banking, and other service-focused careers. If you enjoy helping people and making a meaningful impact in your community, we can teach you the technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
- Perform blood draws (paid training provided)
- Manage accurate and organized donor information
- Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success
- Set up, operate, and break down equipment at mobile blood drives
- Package and transport blood products according to established procedures
Most days you’ll conduct a blood drive in one of our buses; other days you’ll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers.
Pay
$18.75 - $19.75 per hour + shift and bilingual pay opportunity
Travel
Throughout Nevada and portions of Arizona and California near the Nevada border, including 1 to 5 overnight stays per month as needed. Hotel accommodations and meal expenses are covered.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel throughout the service area, including overnight hotel stays
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred (must pass bilingual certification provided by Vitalant).
