About the role
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing.
- Follows established practices and procedures while drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
- Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients during explanations of procedures.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors and focuses on process excellence.
- Maintains a safe and professional environment.
- Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
- Maintains required records and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years current Phlebotomy experience.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED.
- One (1) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
- M-F Eastern time 6:30a-3:30p and every other Saturday 6:30a-1:30p.

M-F Eastern time 6:30a-3:30p and every other Saturday 6:30a-1:30p.
