About the role

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Follows established practices and procedures while drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients during explanations of procedures.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors and focuses on process excellence.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
• Maintains required records and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years current Phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED.
• One (1) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• M-F Eastern time 6:30a-3:30p and every other Saturday 6:30a-1:30p.

Pay

M-F Eastern time 6:30a-3:30p and every other Saturday 6:30a-1:30p.
