Phlebotomist
Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screening

Pay Range
$18.29 to $28.49 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role
Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
