About the role

As a Phlebotomist, you will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and serving as the face of the company. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• 6 months or more of experience as a phlebotomist or a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Pay

$17.75 - $24.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Schedule

• Monday and Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
