Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Able to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency

Additional Job Standards

• Able to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Flexibility to work weekends and additional sites as needed

Pay

Quarterly incentive bonus program available

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm; additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed
