About the role
PAML, a Labcorp company, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Olympia, WA. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Requirements
- Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License (or application for license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire)
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy (preferred)
Pay
Pay Range: $22.30 - $27.69 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM; additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
