Phlebotomist

As a Phlebotomist in Wyomissing, PA, you will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as the face of the company. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization and may include travel to additional sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
- Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Handle administrative and clerical duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays.
