Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform Urinalysis dips and pregnancy kit tests
- Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
- 6 months or more OB/GYN experience
- Current or prior LabCorp experience
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay
Quarterly incentive bonus program available
Schedule
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm; Friday 8:00 - 2:30pm (additional hours/ rotating Saturdays required as needed)
