About the role

As a Phlebotomist, you will work in either a Patient Service Center or a Client office, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1.5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience

Pay

$17.75 - $24.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:30pm

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
