Phlebotomist

About the role

We are seeking a Collection Specialist-CDL Driver to join our Donor Services Phlebotomy team. This is a Full Time/30+ position working 30-39 hours per week, with varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy
• Provide donor care during the donation process
• Drive blood center vehicles (i.e. box trucks, truck and trailer combos, and buses)
• Transport blood drive supplies and the Donor Services team
• Set-up and tear down of the collection operation
• Restock of supplies

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Enjoy working with the public
• A good, stable work history
• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
• Able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• Able to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
• Comfortable driving larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck/trailer combos, and buses)
• Comfortable driving in various weather conditions
• Possess a valid CDL B (or above) with airbrake endorsements and be insurable by our insurance carrier
• Possess a REAL ID
• Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card
