About the role
Perform blood collections, specimen processing, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples via venipuncture and capillary methods for all age groups
- Gather specimens for various tests such as drug screens and paternity tests
- Accurately enter patient data and process billing information
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen information
- Deliver superior patient service and perform administrative tasks as needed
- Travel to additional sites when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or relevant experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with reliability and flexibility
- Pass a color blindness test and have dependable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime and perform administrative duties
