Phlebotomist
About the role
The Phlebotomist I position is part of a collaborative, physician-led team at Duly Health and Care. We provide high-quality, coordinated care across various services including primary and specialty care, surgery centers, imaging, lab, and therapy.
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy on adult and pediatric patients by vascular access (venipuncture) or capillary collection (finger stick) using aseptic protocols, accurate patient identification and proper labeling procedures.
- Maintain a clean patient and working environment.
- Monitor phone and voice mail messages, as necessary.
- Receive patients professionally and courteously utilizing AIDET and positive patient experience tools.
- Utilize computer skills to accurately access patient/testing information, as necessary.
- Produce patient demographic sheet and prepare additional paperwork to accompany specimens, as necessary.
- Perform specimen centrifugation, processing, prepping for reference lab transportation, storage and retrieval.
- Perform other assigned duties, as needed.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred.
- Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
- Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to work variable 8 hour shifts in between the hours of 7:00am-6pm.
- Every Other Saturday Required- 7:00am-1:00pm.
- Travel to other sites may be required.

Pay
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
Schedule
Full-Time, 40 hours/week. Hours: Monday- Friday; Must be willing to work variable 8 hour shifts in between the hours of 7:00am-6pm. Every Other Saturday Required- 7:00am-1:00pm.
