The posted compensation range of $16.06 - $22.69 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
- Expertly perform blood collection and specimen processing, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Obtain and process blood specimens via capillary or venipuncture, ensuring integrity, proper disposal, and timely distribution to testing areas with special instructions.
- Perform venous and capillary punctures on all age groups of inpatient and outpatient populations, utilizing appropriate collection techniques to obtain quality samples and adhere to appropriate volume requirements.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of phlebotomy trays, stations and storage rooms.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 Days
Preferred
- 3 months phlebotomy in an acute care facility
- Phlebotomy Technician certification
