About the role

Performs blood collection by venipuncture and skin puncture. Assists in the pre-analytical phase of testing—accessioning, processing, and distributing specimens to workstations. Assists in the post-analytical phase of testing—report distribution via hand delivery, fax, or LIS-generated printouts. Interacts professionally with patients, co-workers, and physicians.

Requirements

• Current phlebotomy certification from the State of California
• High school graduation or equivalent
• 2+ years of robust experience in an acute care setting
• Current AHA-sponsored CPR certification

Pay

$23.00–$24.50 per hour
