Phlebotomist
About the role
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bentonville, AR.
Responsibilities
- Draw blood using venipuncture techniques.
- Collect urine, stool, and other specimens as needed.
- Label, process, store, and prepare specimens for transport.
- Verify patient information, test orders, and specimen labels for accuracy.
- Explain procedures to patients and help them feel comfortable.
- Operate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and laboratory staff.
- Support daily clinic and laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience (2+ years preferred).
- Experience performing blood draws and specimen collection.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and specimen handling procedures.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.05 - $20.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply and may vary depending on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
