Phlebotomist

About the role

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bentonville, AR.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood using venipuncture techniques.
• Collect urine, stool, and other specimens as needed.
• Label, process, store, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Verify patient information, test orders, and specimen labels for accuracy.
• Explain procedures to patients and help them feel comfortable.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and laboratory staff.
• Support daily clinic and laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience (2+ years preferred).
• Experience performing blood draws and specimen collection.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and specimen handling procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.05 - $20.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply and may vary depending on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
