Job Title: Phlebotomist - Phoenix 32nd st and Camelback Rd Job Description The position involves drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing. You will be responsible for collecting and receiving biological specimens, entering them into the company's computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing them to the proper analytical area. The role includes both pre and post aspects of analytical testing, along with performing specified analytical testing as assigned. Adherence to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct is required. Responsibilities Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.Accurately enter specimen information into the computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the proper analytical area.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct in all activities. Essential Skills 1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience required (donor, plasma, and dialysis / IV draws do not qualify).Experience with blood draw and specimen processing.Proficiency in laboratory and phlebotomy techniques.Comfortable working independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications GED or High School Diploma required. Work Environment The role is based at 32nd st & Camelback Rd., Phoenix, AZ, with working hours from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Phlebotomists will work within a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment, drawing blood and processing specimens.
