About the role

This is a contract position based out of Round Rock, TX.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data and decontamination
• Update patient information
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order
• Package specimens for transport
• Store specimen samples according to required temperature
• Place samples in appropriate collection container/tube
• Accurately label specimens
• Follow different procedures as outlined by specific protocols deemed necessary for transport to maintain specimen integrity

Requirements

• Phlebotomy Certification is mandatory

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.61/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
