Must be located closer to Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and handle decontamination.
• Update patient information.
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport.
• Store specimen samples according to required temperature.
• Place samples in appropriate collection containers/tubes, accurately label, and follow specific procedures for transport to maintain specimen integrity.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience working as a Phlebotomist in a lab and hospital (mandatory).
• Pediatric and geriatric experience (mandatory).
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.61/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
