About the role
A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual. The role enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the stigma of people living with HIV (PLWH) and associated comorbidities, understanding the challenges of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patient anonymity and privacy.
You will be a passionate advocate for AHF’s top initiatives, ensuring the organization’s core Values and Mission stay top of mind in all actions. The role operates in a dynamic environment, requiring adaptability to provide the best experience for clients and a positive workplace for employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Pharmacy Technician - SRT will work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.
Requirements
- State license in the state of application (required)
- Four or more state licenses (highly preferred)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification (highly preferred)
- Immunization (IMZ) certification (highly preferred)
- CPR certification (highly preferred)
