About the role
A Pharmacy Technician - SRT contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual, in addition to the specifics of the job classification below. They enhance the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the "stigma" of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients' needs to maintain anonymity and privacy. They are passionate advocates for AHF's top initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with AHF's core Values and Mission in all actions.
- Work closely with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with these groups to support patient care.
- Adapt to a dynamic environment to provide the best experience for clients and a supportive workplace for employees.
- Collaborate within a team-oriented organization where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Required: State license of state applying to (if applicable); Highly preferred: +4 state licenses, PTCB, IMZ, CPR
