Pharmacy Technician (Third Shift)

Responsibilities
- Process correct bags through the automated machines.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.
- Responsible for stocking received pharmacy inventory.
- Organize medication shelves and maintain cleanliness of work station.
- Ensure station is properly stocked at all times.
- Monitor station queues.
- Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to ensure timely delivery to patients.
- Demonstrate superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.

- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required.
- If no prior pharmacy experience, must be committed to registering with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy certification within one year of employment.
- Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, preferred.
- Must be 18+ years of age.

Physical/Mental Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.
- Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately.
- May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis.

Pay
Medical, dental and vision coverage are effective 1st of the month following date of hire.
