About the role
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:
- Use their compounding skills to prepare medications for our patients at UW Cancer Center - Johnson Creek
- Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals
- Perform inventory control
- Conduct compliance audits
- Manage financial transactions
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain pharmacy records
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have sterile hazardous and/or non-hazardous compounding knowledge and experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program
- 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician
- Preferred: Completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school
Qualifications
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire
- Certified Pharmacy Technician

Commensurate with experience
Schedule
100% FTE; Day Shift. Monday – Friday; 8:00AM – 4:30PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department
