Pharmacy Technician Representative - Accredo
About the role
Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group, is seeking high-energy, positive individuals to join its pharmacy technician team. The team ensures prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately to 100 million patients whose health depends on timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
- Use expert problem-solving skills to assist patients in maintaining their health.
- Work with a skilled team to ensure timely delivery of patient medications.
- Gain new knowledge through systems and peer relationships.
- Perform tasks such as processing new and refill prescriptions, verifying quantities, preparing labels, sending orders to pharmacy staff, selecting appropriate packaging materials, enclosing client-specific materials, affixing shipping labels, sorting packages by carrier, cleaning equipment, and replenishing workstation supplies.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
- Stand for lengthy periods and perform repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and arms.
- Work in confined areas near machinery and may be in environments with varying levels of noise.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid Arizona State Board of Pharmacy license.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office and internet/email usage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications

Schedule
Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM through 7:00 PM. This shift may be eligible for shift differential.
