Pharmacy Technician - PRN/On-Call

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist at all times.
• Read, interpret, and record physician drug orders.
• Distribute drug and IV admixtures throughout the hospital.
• Replace, bill, and inspect nursing‑station floor‑stocked medications.
• Maintain drug inventory levels, prepare purchase requisitions, order necessary medications and supplies, and keep price updates current.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent; preference given to pharmacy technician school graduates.
• License through the South Carolina Licensed Lay‑Recreational (SCLLR) Pharmacy Board is required.
