PM Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
Shift Differential Applicable
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, package, and dispense medications for skilled nursing facility residents during PM shift hours
- Process and verify prescription orders in the pharmacy management system
- Cookout and communicate with nursing facility staff to ensure timely fulfillment
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and ensure proper documentation
- Perform inventory management, including restocking and controlled substance tracking
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and facility protocols
- Support pharmacist with drug utilization reviews and medication reconciliation tasks
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (or registration) required
- National certification (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA preferred
- Prior experience in a long-term care, institutional, or retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software and dispensing systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with nursing and clinical staff
- Availability to work PM shift hours, including possible weekends or holidays
